The Lifelong Learning Content Team
Arizona State University
The Lifelong Learning Content team works to provide resources, particularly around soft skills and leadership development, that enable learners to propel themselves into their careers and contribute to their communities.
The team is passionate about empowering learners to achieve their dreams in a world in which knowledge can be outdated before it is published. Our fast-paced and ever-changing society requires lifelong learners who are adaptable and full of grit, and the Lifelong Learning Content Team taps into these societal requirements to provide content that can create lifelong leaders.

Elizabeth Gordon
Instructional Designer
EdPlus at Arizona State University
Elizabeth Gordon is an Instructional Designer for EdPlus at Arizona State University. Elizabeth grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in Western Pennsylvania, before a sense of adventure compelled Elizabeth and her newlywed husband to move to Arizona. Before, during, and after working on her graduate degree, Elizabeth worked in a variety of outreach jobs at the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Since 2008, Elizabeth has taught history classes part time at Mesa Community College, in both ground and online formats. She holds a BA in history from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, and a MA in history from ASU.
Elizabeth lives in Mesa with her husband and two younger sons. Her oldest son recently graduated from the University of Arizona.. In her free time, Elizabeth reads just about any type of e-book she can get her hands on (except scary ones) and watches TV/movies (especially sci-fi and superheroes) with her family. Elizabeth also enjoys hiking, biking and baking (as long as it's not too hot outside).
