This series focuses on A Movement to End Ageism with Ashton Applewhite, author and activist. Applewhite has been recognized by the New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), The New Yorker and the American Society on Aging as an expert on ageism. She has spoken at several venues including the TED main stage and the United Nations. Applewhite’s writing includes the Yo, Is This Ageist? Blog and This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Aging. She is also a founder of the Old School Anti-Ageism Clearinghouse, which provides free resources to educate people about ageism and help dismantle it.
